We’re excited to be an academic partner with NFMLA this year, offering a limited number of FREE passes to CSULB Film students to attend this festival. RSVP here: https://lnkd.in/ghTMbNKu before Monday September 9th at 11:59PM!NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) hosts its annual NFMLA Film Festival InFocus: Latinx & Hispanic Cinema program. The line-up consists of four short film programs of noteworthy independent films from new talent that encompasses a diversity of genres, narrative approaches and stories, told by emerging filmmakers from and working in Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, France, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico and the United States. Come to the South Park Center on September 21st to watch some great films, network, and more!NFMLA showcases films by filmmakers of all backgrounds throughout the year, across their general and InFocus programming. All filmmakers are welcome and encouraged to submit their projects for consideration for upcoming NFMLA Festivals, regardless of the schedule for InFocus programming, which celebrates diversity, inclusion, and region by spotlighting communities of filmmakers within our filmmaking community as part of our monthly program. Looking for a video production internship? Check out Beach Vision for fall 2024!Business & Project Description: Beach Vision is a video crew that produces Long Beach State live sports coverage on ESPN+ and live video content at the Walter Pyramid. Beach Vision works from a production truck/control room that allows them to cover various sports and events within Long Beach State Athletics.They are currently looking for interns who have a passion for sports and live broadcast production to assist in the upcoming 2024-2025 Season. Beach Vision has had the incredible opportunity to work alongside student athletes and film students to create memorable content including, the broadcast of the opening rounds of Big West Conference Basketball Tournament, GCC Water Polo Conference Finals, Big West Conference Finals for Softball and Women’s Volleyball, NCAA Super Regional for Baseball, and the NCAA National Championship for Men’s Volleyball. Beach Vision is also involved in video board production at the Walter Pyramid.⭕ Internship Position Title: Live Broadcasting and Video Production Internship⭕ Internship Hours: 8-16 hours per week/2-3 times a week, primarily Thursdays-Sundays (based on gameschedules and Office Hours)⭕ Office Hours: 2-6 hours per week, flexible Monday-Friday schedule.Compensation: Unpaid Unpaid Internship. After 25 years in the industry, spending 20 of those years in editorial, he has worked in a wide variety of genres including award-winning hit shows like Modern Family, Reboot, Deadwood, and most recently known for his work on the hit show Poker Face. His enthusiasm for storytelling is only matched by his dedication to the craft of editing, his technical expertise, and love for swing dancing.
